I was waiting for a few people to make some decisions regarding their paintings, so I took the time between projects to work on a personal painting. The background is inspired by my new rug in my office, where the painting will hang. The quote is my own, and it says, "In life, you have either a good experience or a good story." The corduroy hat is the symbol of my good experiences, and the glass fountain pen is a symbol of my good stories. This is a 24" x 24" acrylic on canvas.
