About Me

My photo
I was born in a town known for a chicken that lived for 38 days with no head. Things have never been quite right since.

I See the Moon

This was my sister and her husband's request as a baby gift for friends of theirs. The soon-to-be mother is  proud of her Irish heritage, so Brittany requested that I do what I could to incorporate that. Brittany also sent me a picture of the bedding, which was blue and green plaid patchwork on one side, and then had the white stars on the light blue on the other side. And I took it from there. The quote is from the song "I See the Moon," which my Googling had led me to believe is Irish. The font is Gaelic, with stitching around it to go with the patchwork theme. Other than all of that, it's pretty self-explanatory. 14" x 18" acrylic on canvas.
